Travel is, with reading, the great schooling of taste. The section gathers the websites of hotels, guest houses, airlines, tour operators, ticket agencies, travel writers, and the small specialist firms that move people about the world.
Margin lists addresses, not reviews. A village inn and a city hotel are written up with the same restraint, on the assumption that the reader will read in another column whatever judgement they wish to hear.
A listing costs nothing. We read each submission as a letter from a host and, if the place exists and the description is honest, the entry is printed.
If you keep such a place, send the address. The catalogue will be the larger for it.
